ask me how I know you're retarded.

I remember in 2018, when they unveiled the RTX thing, I thought, "cool, yet another ngreedia ploy to monopolize the graphics card market".

A major problem is that the only way games anti-alias raytraced frames is TAA, which only works if nothing is moving. People need to realize that temporal-[anything] will never work for games.

nobody even stated that in the op
he stated that it was a disaster, which frankly, it was
are you mentally ill btw?

Relatively fair. Nvidia has all these things like Hairworks that are Nvidia exclusive.
At least AMD is fairly competitive in the raytracing sector, when they aren't excluded like in RTX Remix games. And part of it might be poor optimization for AMD's architecture.

obsolete technology
We have AI rendering techniques where the AI can guess where the light is supposed to be instead of wasting gpu time tracing rays
computer graphics is a solved subject, pointless to study it

Raytracing isn't impressive when it's slapped on to the typical rasterization pipeline, but that's the only way hardware can handle it in real time.
We're far off from the point where game engines can render their scenes without having to use polygons, so this is what we're stuck with.

Raytracing can be smazing if utilized by skilled devs. However
