I run both of these on a home server, honestly can't decide which one I prefer. Librechat is cool and supports anthropic/google ai natively, but configuring providers/models/keys is annoying and badly documented and has to be done via env/yaml files. Openwebui doesn't have this problem, you can configure everything in the web UI and adjust a ton of settings per model, but it only supports OpenAI compatible by default.

It's not placebo. Gemini does at least two content moderation checks, first on input, which can be tricked quite easily with a prefill since it only focuses on the very end of the prompt. Second is on the output (most likely a gemma model trained for content moderation or some shit), it scans it's own reply in real time for any weird shit that it deems "immoral". In the past I was able to bypass the second censor by instructing the model to start its response with total gibberish (a string of random characters) which I later cut out with regex so it doesn't look like shit. Unfortunately, this method doesn't seem to work much after Gemini 2.5 went out of preview into full release.

This is probably a stupid question, but is there a way to switch what model you're using via openrouter? I want to try a different model, but clicking "Get API key" on any model just sends me back to the same generic key page and every key I try to generate just keeps defaulting me to the model I'm currently using. Even deleting the keys I do have and generating a new one just kept shoving me back to the model I'm trying to switch off of.
I found "Default Model" in the Settings menu which I assumed would do it, but it seems to completely ignore what I put in there and keep generating with the old model anyways.

When I use Pollinators -> Deepseek as my API in SillyTavern, it gives good responses, but the responses are trapped inside the hidden "thinking" dropdown. My max response size is pretty high too and that doesn't seem to help. The responses are only like a paragraph or two which is what I want.
