As the customer base grows to include more relatively normal people, we can expect Linux to become more user-friendly, either through distributions adapting to the needs of their userbase or through the userbase themselves solving problems by creating help content, applications, etc.
The conditions for a mass exodus of Windows users do not currently exist. But if things keep going the way they're going, ten years from now, who knows?
