I dabbled with Ubuntu back in 12.04 days, but ended up going back to Windows.
Returned to Linux in 2020, and was severely disappointed that Ubuntu no longer had comfy Unity

Linux so slow they're just getting into Flat Design and the world is already moving on from that.

I miss Unity. Their global menu was the best one, hands down. Global menu support in linux still hasn't recovery since it died.
Canonical is so fucking gay for giving up on it, and instead going for gnome, that abortion of a mac os clone that can't copy the single feature that it does well.
