Recently I tried it on my second machine with a 3060 12gb, wan2.1_i2v_480p_14B_fp8_scaled worked fine, what version of clip are using using ?

I was using t5xxl_fp8_e4m3fn_scaled.safetensors when I tested and it worked fine, I was using sageattention2 though, which I believe brings down vram usage a bit.

The way ai training works is that it generalizes everything that uses the same tokens.

So when you ask for a woman, you will get the generalization of all images tagges with 'woman' it has trained on, which is one big reason it's such a shame there are no celebrities in these models anymore, since you could get really unique faces by combining celebrity names.

Of course you can do that with loras though, but given that Civitai banned them in order to appease their payment processor, you'll likely have to train your own loras.

Yea, Chroma has diverged too far from Flux to be able to use Flux loras effectively at this point.

Chroma specific loras will need to be made, hopefully there will be a lot of them.

I want to get back into diffusion genning but everything new requires Comfy shit. I stopped genning when I got bored of always the same look of Pony and IL. This really sucks. I want to gen but I can't get over tangling with noodles and all the idiotic quirkyness of that "UI". Trust me I tried. Many times.

I am doing a gig of building a PC that can house a RTX pro 6000 blackwell 96 GB workstation editions, but needs to also work for dual RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell workstation editions if the client wants to expand in the future.

What hardware other than the GPU's do you recommend? I have about 3k-5k budget for non-GPU hardware. So far, I am considering an Asus X870E Hero, AMD 9950X, arctic liquid freezer iii 420, G.Skill DDR5 Trident Z5 RGB 2x32GB 6000 (or maybe 4x), Cooler Master M2000 Platinum, fractal design 7 XL case.

Gaming motherboards dont seem to have nvlink these days... and i dont really have the budget for a WRX90 (AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7970X) or W790 (Intel Xeon W-3400) board.

Any suggestions?

minor wan2.1 image to video performance regression coming from 570.133.07 with cuda 12.6 to 570.86.10 (with cuda 12.8 and 12.6)
I tried 570.86.10 with cuda 12.6, the performance regression was still the same. Additionally I tried different sageattn versions (2++ and the one before 2++)
reverted back to 560.35.03 with cuda 12.6 for good measure and the performance issue was fixed
picrel is same workflow with same venv. the speeds on 560.35.03 match my memory of how fast i genned on 570.133.07
