Arch has testing repo if you want to be tester, other than that it has nothing to do with testing. It's rolling release distribution, if you dont like this format you are free to install other distribution that gives you less choice and freedom.

It was earlier than 2013.
I worked under contract in seattle for microsoft. I was the only non-indian guy in a sea of 300 Indians in our group.
There was one white guy, the manager, who always came in with a shirt and tie. He literally sat up front at a desk and watched us like a sweatshop.
We’d be, like, 4 to 6 people to these tiny apartments.
I was lucky, I got just one other guy in my apt who wasn’t indian, but didn’t work in our group.
This was in the early days of dot net. A lot of us were writing assemblies that dealt with AD security.
As far as I’m aware, I was the only one (again, out of 300) that proactively looked for issues with the automated tests that had to do with code I wrote and fixed it immediately. Every other developer waited to be assigned the issue.
This was almost 2 decades ago now.
I think it was an interesting experience, I quit after a few years of that shit.
Do with this information what you will.
