linuxbro here. i've been getting into the occult recently and i thought i'd add a linux flair to it, so i just tried to summon 72 demons from the Ars Goetia using my terminal. the code is in picrel.

it creates a directory named ritual, moves into that directory, and creates 72 text files, one for each demon. each text file says "i summon thee, {demon name}. grant me great spiritual power"

here's the best part...the last line has your terminal read all the text files out loud. anyhoo i just did it so i'm not sure quite what to expect. wish me luck

Idiot, you can do that in a normal program.
Programming is literally using language to write the terms of a contract with the 'spirit' of the computer. The sigils are inscribed by forming circuitry to communicate with what ought to be dumb rock, and the contracts are executed to the letter, and will punish the writer for any incorrectly stipulated terms.

You got the basics down: creating a directory, looping through each demon from a text file, and writing out the summoning incantation. But if you really wanna step this up, you should’ve added some real Linux magic — like making the terminal read the files aloud with espeak or festival, maybe even piping the output to /dev/audio for some real demonic sound effects.
