why do we hate this card again? vramlets need not post in this thread
good luck playing any multiplats in the near future, game consoles start with 16GB of vram now.
>>105782130 (OP)what games post 2023 can this card play at ultra? 8 GB VRAM is utter dog shit in 2025. stop blowing jensen.
>>105782157name one game past 2023 that's worth playing
>>105782172gorillions. but old good new bad right?
>>105782183>old good new bad rightyes, new games sucks compared to games that released 15+ years ago
>>105782175read the post again retard "can play any game on ultra"
>>105782191Nigger, that's nostalgia glasses. You thought they were better because you were a dumb kid. Now you look back at them fondly.
>>105782206no retard, new games are dei buggy slop with microtransactions and paid dlc. Old games didn't have any of this.
I think the card is fine but the vram imo is still too low and I think the higher vram versions are the ones worth buying. It's a big difference for a small price uptick desu. I don't think the 8gb card should even fucking exist desu.
Also we need more gains in this skew
>>105782202for today's games. 2 years in the future and your $350 donation to daddy jensen will be a paperweight
>>105782231>2 years in the futurenew games will still be shit not worth playing
What's wrong with playing games on medium/low settings 1080/720p?
>>105782258ok on a laptop, bad on a tv
>>105782241if you're only playing games from 15 years ago why give nvidia $350 when you could have the same performance and more longevity by buying used or some shit
>>105782130 (OP)Do you really need a thread on /v/ and /g/ for this shit card?
>>105782272rtx 4060 has better performance than a gtx 1080
>>105782308Well there's no point in buying a high end video card if you're going to be playing games on a tv. It's overkill.
>>105782295Not really, they trade blows depending on the application. The only advantage the 4060 really has is the raytracing cores and mesh shader support.
>>105782320that's why the rtx 4060 is perfect
The only real use case for the 4060 is if you have a really old PC with a <500W power supply and need a major GPU upgrade from a 1060 or some shit like that. Since it's actually a TBP reduction over the 1060/1660 so it's a solid upgrade for some people without needing to change literally anything else. That's literally the only reason to ever buy one. And even then if you play mainly AAAslop then B580 is probably way better value.
what graphic settings are worth maxing out in games anyway? texture filtering, texture quality, maybe draw distance in multiplayer games?
