Is there anything in this hobby that needs more than 32GB of ram? Mine is 80%ish video genning right now and I'm wondering if 64 would improve anything or there's some model out there that needs it. What's it even for anything? Isn't VRAM the only thing thats useful? Anytime I see shared graphics memory used at all it's going to be slow as fuck and I should just cancel and fix it.

You can run stuff without quantization, which should give better quality. Hard to say how much. Wan with full quality everything hits just short of 64 megs for me.

There's also LLMs, which can use hundreds of gigs, deepseek dynamic quants takes like 150ish gigs total, the more you can load into VRAM the more usable it is.

How good is wan at physics? Can I make videos of Minoan girls doing bull leaps? I have the hardware (4090) but don't want to spend time setting up if video isn't good enough yet.

I've never prompted for video but I assume it's closer to natural language than tags.

I'm using 2 SamplerAdvanced. This lets me use lcm first, then another sampler. In this example it's euler.

Please ignore the weird format of the lyrics. I'm still trying stuff out with acestep, and that idea didn't do anything (language prompting doesn't induce voice changes).

It's just acestep, but I figured out that you need to use LCM as the first sampler.

I'm using the 50-8 formula on my current gens.

50 of LCM (I think lcm ignores sigmas, so I need to change final step, since we aren't really handing off from lcm - lcm's steps are basically disunified... but cba presently)

I have a slow gpu. So, I can't always use as many steps as I want. I have boosted the LCM to 80 here, and look I can't just gen a whole matrix of gens like some people can. So I changed the start of the second sampler (here euler) to 1. But will 0 work? I doubt it, I'm pretty sure that's clean slate so it will wipe it?

The voices are better than sunno and udio, easily, by miles. Yes I realize we are struggling with too much noise in this case, and if you loaded the wf you will see I only am using 2 ksampler(advanced).

If I had a lot of money I would do x-y plots and keep the steps at 1000 on the main sampler.

And the draw is that I give you my GPU and a front end to generate WAN videos and if you want to share your gen you can just click the Post button but if you're a fag you can just download the outputted MP4 I guess kek

Is there supposed to be an easy way to download outputs from comfyui without going into the output folder? I've been having to grab the mp4s from the /viewvideo API calls it does to play the thumbnails but there's no actually easy way in the Queue to just click download for some reason which makes no sense because why can I --listen if I can't easily even get my outputs if I'm not able to access the outputs folder

CPU and memory have been hamstringing me in other areas as well i.e. gaming and video encode (cuda encoder can suck my dick)

If your sleep problem is caused by some form of anxiety (not sure if yours is), it will be a bit harder for sure.

However the 'formula' is the same, do something that keeps your mind occupied with something else, which calms down the anxiety, then when you try to sleep again, and the anxiety inevitably crawls back, it will be subdued at least, where as if you stay in bed the anxiety will just keep building.
