it also comes with some settings, such as one that adds RPG systems such as rolling dice, levels, tests, has a game over state if you die, it also (as i said) gives actual consequences to your actions from my experience, sometimes my character had to escape near death

It's fascinating how right now I'm currently at the point where I have to choose between AI and gaming on my computer. Video game performance TANKS if I leave Kobold running in the background, I think it's sucking up all of my gpu's vram even while not in active use. With that said, I have a 6800xt with 16GB of vram, so there should be plenty to spare, but Cyberpunk 2077 drops to 30fps with Kobold up and running. So I always have to force-quit it before gaming.

Years from now, when I'm comfortably able to run games and AI at the same time I'll look back and say how shitty my 2025 rig was.
