shouldn't the first huge red flag be that there's not a single place he's worked at for more than a year? if i saw that i would be super skeptical, so he's going to come into my place, i'll train him and get him into our software projects and before the investment pays off and he does good work for me he's going to be out the door at the next company

not to mention it all apparently being a lie in the first place

i think its pretty normal to do 1 year positions early in your career because companies refuse to move you up from a junior position/salary so your only option is to job hop to actually be paid a human salary

a bigger hmm for me is that this dude apparently got 2 degrees while working full time jobs in the industry, and was a "senior fullstack engineer" 1 year after graduating with a bachelors in mumbai

In these cases, HR and managers are to blame 100% of the time. Missing so many obvious redflags means you're just far too incompetent and your process is inefficient.

I had to interview jeets with "10+ years of experience saaar".

We asked one how he would store banking info, he told us he'd hash them and use MD5
We asked another what is an XSS attack and what HttpOnly means, he couldn't answer

Tech executives and the current administration are confident these people can easily replace you.

yeah there are a lot of tells on resumes that are instant rejects. here's the thing though, don't ever talk about them. the jeets that lurk here will tell their friends and they will tell their friends and very quickly that tell will no longer work.

my sister works in university admissions. the same thing happens the other way. one year you let in one "oh saaar my sister has the cancer i am trying to make a better life for her" and next year at least 30k of your foreign applicants have that same story.
jeets. not even once.

Nitpicks like that are stupid though, you don't need to do that when his brownoid name is already at the top of the first page. Jeets are unfortunately quite good at bullshitting, it's safer to just assume literally anything they say is false, even if they try to provide evidence to the contrary.

That was perfectly correct in the sentence you quoted it from, ESL-kun. (I'll grant that by convention it should have been hyphenated, i.e., "six-foot-tall gigachad".)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compound_modifier#Hyphenation_of_elements_in_English
>When a numeral and a noun are used in a compound modifier that precedes a noun, the noun takes the singular form. For example, the 2021 Belmont Stakes was a "12-furlong race" and an "eight-horse race", not a "12-furlongs race" or an "eight-horses race".
