Why should I care about privacy and make my computer experience worse by using Linux and foss software if the only thing I do on my computer is scrolling 4chan and playing vidya?

If all you're using is a browser Linux might actually be an improvement.

ngl, this. or macos. just ditch the wangblows, there's nothing worse than this shit
but only if you use non-retarded distro. so, no arch or gentoo. just some fedora or mint
>ubuntu
it's fucking abomination, slower than anything and runs into issues more often than even fucking arch. all thanks to snap

I played Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake all day yesterday. Ate sushi, chicken pad thai and had wine while enjoying a really great gaming experience in Linux

I've no idea why or even how people encounter such issues, but most of the time these seem exaggerated - I guess people with issues tend to be report matters more actively. With that said, I did have issues in RDR2, where the performance tanks in a linear fashion the longer you play, couldn't find a workaround. Restarting the game helped as a temporary relief, but it was annoying regardless. Otherwise, it's been smooth across the board.

I have a full ayyymd-build, so your mileage may vary. But you can't really know how things pan out without trying, can you.

This is is a you issue. I have an AMD build and play RDR2 just fine. As a matter of fact, it plays better on Linux than it does windows.

I don't have any issues, therefore they do not exist.
