Red Hat sends their employees to flood places like this so fedora gets more ussers, more product testers, and gets more optimized for enterprise release. This is their policy ever since they became 100% indian owned, spamming and worsening the internet seems to run on (((their))) blood

Fedora is shit, and fedora kde is even more shit, since they don't give a damn about making a good kde experience, if you want a good kde experience use arch, which in turn is a better operating system than fedora, and at least you aren't doing beta testing for red hat for free.
>>105793183 >No GUI installer >Non official GUI package manager >No notification of available updates
Great if you want to treat your OS as a hobby you need to babysit but worthless for most people
>>105794235
Good for you, but it's simply inferior to Fedora for now. I'm saying that as someone who'd like it to get better and rival Fedora, not a Red Hat fanboy.
>>105794245
If you're an arch user and you can resist typing pacman -Syu for more than a month, my hats off to you. Arch users don't need update notifications. In fact, you'd probably see an uptick in suicides and mental illness if they had that.
>>105794245 >>No GUI installer >>Non official GUI package manager >>No notification of available updates
No need to sell it more to me bro, I'm already an arch user.

How much is redhat paying you to shill for their product? If you want a rolling stable just download literally anything else and it will work just as good, besides, you can put all of those things in Arch if you want.

But is that the same anon as >>105797534?
Because as far as I know that's not me, but another person answering you to your blatant ibm shilling.
Hell, all of these "fedora God distro" threads that we get constantly, same shit with nixos ones, reek of advertising that they hurt my back to see, so do yourself a favor and stop shilling a distro if you're not getting paid for it, specially one made by a corporation with 19k employees.
I like gnome but KDE seems cool too. Might try switching to it next release. I like that we have choices in Linux and that Fedora treats both gnome and KDE as first class DEs

when i was distrohopping on my current pc i installed kubuntu and dismissed it only because the kubuntu icon that appears when its booting is ugly.
I'm a Windows user, and fell for the Linux Mint memes.
While I do enjoy my time on Linux now, I don't think Mint is really it for me.
First of all, I just had to go and install KDE, because Cinnamon was just not doing it for me, and I wasn't able to customize it to work like on my Windows machine.
Fedora has been recommended so many times in here, that I'm afraid I have to fall for this meme again.
I'll probably dual-boot Mint and Fedora for a while, before settling on one of them, but it's gonna be a tough sell for me, since I've been using Debian servers for 10+ years, so I'm much more accustomed to Debian based commands in the terminal.

I should say, that I seriously just want something stable, with KDE.
Crashes and freezing is not uncommon, here on my Mint/KDE setup, and I'd like to just start over fresh, from a clean Fedora base.

just finished expedition 33 on mine. definitely doesnt just werk out of the box you need to add the rpmfusion repository and follow a guide. https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/NVIDIA
if you want fedora that 'just werks' for gaming try bazzite, if you're willing to spend a few hours on getting it to work get regular fedora kde
