needs to die already!
>buggy as hell
>slow as hell
>doesn't support 90% of modern browser APIs
>can do absolutely nothing, no keyboard API, no mouse capture API, no filesystem API, no filepicker API, no blob support in indexeddb, no stream capture support, no MediaRecorder, .... and thousands of others
>lazy fucking devs doing nothing for decades and couldn't care less
>tranny owner stealing all the google money, paying herself millions per month and milking the last drop out of the dead horse
Why the fuck does it still exist??

You don't need APIs to navigate or visit sites. They all work perfectly fine without it. And I'm even glad Mozilla is not adding them otherwise we'd get crap like picrel
The browser works perfectly fine. Go use Chrome without uBlock Origin, full-on data mining and stop crying.

Things that don't show "blocked" under it are still blocked anyway from accessing the submenu, in case it wasn't clear (alongside everything else inside that browser).
Feature creep can suck my hairy balls.

He'll probably say any site with
const isFirefox = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase().indexOf('firefox') > -1;
if (isFirefox) {
document.body.innerHTML = "<h1>Sorry, Firefox is not supported on this site. Please use the latest version of Google Chrome (tm). (P.S.: My wife cheats on me with a Gigachad and my son is black even tho me and my wife are white.)</h1>";
}

It's hard to tell which sites use these APIs.
The first thing that comes to mind is checking the source code for any page of the site you're visiting, and searching for the implementation.

But most of them are useless, the ones that are actually good like useful are already implemented by all major browsers.

usecase for any of those APIs? The web has been working just fine for the last decade without any of those.
Oh let me guess, more bloat that webshitters will use as an excuse for making web apps instead of native software, fuck off

Because Chrome just shot itself in the foot.
I don't know how much the rest of you know about Browser culture (I'm an expert), but Manifest V2 and adblocking are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in Google-land where you can become successful by being evil. If you screw someone over in adblocking, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is the adblocking public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to install Google Chrome for any operating system, nor will they purchase any of Google's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Google has alienated an entire market with this move.
Google, publicly apologize and cancel Manifest V3 or you can kiss your browser userbase goodbye.
