The tuba model is mine and I was asked by Divverent to make it for Nexuiz
The trigger_heal QuakeC code is mine, and is part of __NEXUIZ__

I asked for and payed for the warpzone code in NEXUIZ
I asked for and payed for the misc_laser map code in NEXUIZ
I asked for and payed for the fakelight code in NEXUIZ
I asked for and payed for the cryptographic networking feature in NEXUIZ
and various other things.

I sent my whole paycheque, in cash, to Germany (something am main) to Rudolf Polzer for quite awhile to pay for those things that I asked for.

I have the RIGHT to fork Xonotic (the RIP OFF OF NEXUIZ) into the game was SUPPOSED to become. What Quake was SUPPOSED TO be.

I genuinely love this game but there are still performance issues and crashing which have prevented me from enjoying the campaign or the city generation.
This screenshot is for when I try to load into map8.
Also can you *please* make it an easy toggle to just let me automatically pickup weapons? I don't like spamming the use key.

SZ_Getspace overflow is from too many precached models.

Specifically: The game keeps a list of models to precache in a string. That string is too long.

Which is why in the buildable-building code everything is pre-cached just in time: precaching every possible buildable thing hits that limit too.

My guess is maybe some special secret is trying to precache all 200 weapons (and their associated models) so it can "give" you all of them if you ever find it. If it is that problem I remeber fixing it by limiting what was considered "all" the weapons a few years ago.

Regarding city generation: when having a webbrowser open I find I have to set the textures to the lowest setting or else I'll get out of memory on intel laptops today. Mozilla really takes up a ton of memory: the textures of the game and mozilla can't stay together. So one has to give.
