I have an entire laundry list of issues with this pile of shit of an OS, and my only comparison is winblows which also sucks gorilla dick. Brew is just about the only upside. Even the fucking TERMINAL is better on windows, it's unreal
I'm starting to think I'll have to try l*nux at this point, and only the fact that I'm gainfully employed stops me from committing to this insanity.

Terminal the app, not terminal the tools available. Terminal (preview) or however it's called beats the shit out of iTerm2.
It's kind of a theme, really. Mac has some decent defaults / "almost defaults" (like iTerm), like built-in screenshot utility or appleScript but sth like Greenshot or AutoHotkey mogs the shit out of what's actually available on a mac
MacOS is dogshit for anything that isn't codemonkey / video / music editing, I have no idea what animals use it as their daily driver

...yes that's kind of my point. Windows default sucks, but it's trivial to get vastly superior alternatives. MacOS defaults are much better, but even the Good Shit tends to be much worse than what's available on Winblows.
The fact there isn't an equivalent to Everything is almost as hilarious as people coping that Finder is good enough. No I don't care that it's a limitation of how indexing works on your garbage OS, figure it out and let me find shit instantly like I could on windows fucking 7, over a decade ago.
