Could someone, anyone, tell me what their FUCKING PROBLEM IS? What leads to something like this being created? What leads to something like this being accepted?!

They want to push "you are the product" agenda further by making everyone a product regardless how much they spend on it, because the exact same people who are indoctrinated with said agenda are ready to parrot "you didn't paid enough" on you.

It depends, rajeesh. In real life? Plenty of times? Online? hardly ever. I only pay for things if they are actually worth paying. If they are not, I just rightfully steal them like a real man.

anon the most expensive windows license is 20 usd, you can get windows 11 on your pc by paying 2.4 usd for a key and upgrading for free on a tpm machine. If you're complaning about price youre just deeply retarded.

Should I just format 11 and put 10 on or am I just being super nitpicky? It messes with my autism a lil bit because my main big pc is W10 with taskbar on top and small buttons so I wanted as unified experience as possible

Yes. The only reason you can't also downgrade to 7/8/8.1 right now is artificial barriers in support, where companies force their products to be unsupported just because they don't want to deal with demands from the userbase.

But if you just want super old games and a browser, you can just go ahead and get windows 7 + Thorium (furry dev, but he's committed to maintaining it for win 7 because he too daily drives it)

In search of more money. Any windows edition that isn't enterprise or server is basically unusable garbage.

It was always funny to me how a billion dollar corporation that manufactures an operating system makes it take like an hour to install. Meanwhile, you can install a Linux distribution in like five minutes.

>paying for windows license
Only a complete niggerfaggot would pay for that, since you can acticate it with massgrave for free. Regardless, Its not only about the license itself. The first thing is that windows is no longer the rock-solid tool to get things done that it used to be like 2 decades ago. Now its a buggy, javascript-ridden mess that looks more and more like a ipad-tier toy and gets less stable with every updoot. The second thing is that shitskins from microsoft try to push users into their ecosystem and their services more and more aggressively, and those are susceptible to the same kind of enshittification as everything else. Currently you need to do multiple hacks to untrannify a windows installation and make it somewhat usable by disabling account requiremt, hardware requirement, default encryption and so on. Your OS doesn't need internet connection to be installed and operated, your OS doesn't need to run on the latest rusting CPUs, your OS doesn't need to (((encrypt))) your drive without your consent. If someone claims otherwise, they are greedy shitskins who want more control over the user.
