Give me 1 (one) cool idea for a side project? Most the projects i find all around the internet are lame or just good enough for a total beginner, after you learn you cant keep going.
>home server
I like the concept of cloud computing but already did a few setups and learned a lot. I have zero interest in some netflix clone so after i learned, there was no point in keep going.
>webapp
Had 3 webapp running in the past but tech is the easiest part. You need to come with a digital product to get users and i wouldnt bother with that so i gave up after learning how to setup a fullstack proj in cloud.
>scraping, automation
Thats was pretty fun when i tried, even ran bots to post on image boards, but i never could find a good usecase. I could scrap data from instagram but never found any use for that.
>linux, raspy, arduino
It was cool to play with and learn about how the computer works. But i even had a embbeded job in the past so i know enough. I dont see the point in ricing a linux at home or whatever, theres nothing cool i could do with it. Raspy and arduino too, i dont wanna make some maze robot nor snes emulator.
I would like to play with trading bots and data analysis but i always end up stuck at the point it would cost a lot of money to but api keys.
Im excited about AI applications, although same, costs a lot of money to do properly.
Oh and btw ive been working as a backend for 5 years.
>do something at the job
Not gonna work for free, fuck (((them))).
>think about something YOU would use
I dont need any automation in my life, at job i just create a python script in a couple hours when i need. No need to automate my life outside work.
