So we all know Windows has been getting worse and worse since the peak of 7. Even normies know it. They keep shitting it up, they keep ruining it. Naturally, many people will look to Linux.

But why haven't anywhere near as many people switched given how almost universal the dissatisfaction with Windows is? Because at the very same time, in parallel, Linux is constantly becoming worse.
>systemd
>wayland
>identitiy politics, tranny shit, woke
>snaps, flatpaks - more bloat, more fragmentation, worsening performance

What if they are deliberately shitting up Linux at the same time as Windows to discourage switching, to stay on the Windows plantation and keep eating shit? Because it seems like you have to eat more and more shit either way, so why go through all the dififculty of switching and learning something new if it too will be shit.

Linux has always been shit so much that regular people would install it and deinstall it within 1-2 hours and never touch it again.
Windows in itself was never "easy" to use either, there used to be many "userfriendly courses" in educational institutions where you learned the basics of how to use it.

Google's Chromebooks run GNU/Linux. They once banned Windows from their work computers after a security incident.

What would Google gain from sabotaging Chrome OS and getting people to stay on Windows?

Linux is just fine. No one knows wtf linux is. the ones who do are either too dumb to use a unix-like or just dont want to.
They dont know shit about systemd, whether it is new or been around since the beginning.
Same with wayland.
All techies are sheep.they just happen to be really good at tech. Thats why they are all woke as fuck
or fucked up mentally. Newbies love that useless flatpack shit. it reminds of winblows.
It doesnt help when linux does gain noobs and they are treated like shit and get no help.

Relying on your distro maintainers' competency and care for every piece of software you use has always been a major flaw of linux distros
Portable programs on windows are peak, you can take something made for XP, copy it onto a fully updated W11 PC and it'll just fucking work
Not saying that flatpak is perfect either, but it's a step in the right direction from being a package manager cuck.

Flatpaks and appimages in general are garbage that take up huge amounts of disk space, because application developers can't agree on standard libraries, which is the whole point of Linux distros.

One example, Lanraragi is for hosting a local doujin website. They need to use the homebrew program, because linux distros can't agree on what version of perl(?) to ship.

Functionality per byte of memory, windows 95 was probably the peak of computing. Everything else is brown people shitting up computers with bloated garbage

I miss the times when i accidentally installed Ubuntu on 3gb drive and i still had some space left. Now it won't even boot if you don't have some buffer left, or you will have issues, such as sound not working.

Not only does that have nothing to do with software bloat, but you're also stupid for not just buying 1x SSD and 1x 4-8tb hard drive, because about half of your data sees zero benefit from SSD speeds.

>increases download size for everyone
Are you on a metered connection? Stop living in the third world
>decreases productivity for everyone
No one who cares about a program being a few megabytes larger will ever do anything productive
>decreases efficiency of the internet, wasting electricity
The power and efficiency losses from training AI, twitter, shittok and allowing indians to access the internet absolutely dwarf this completely fake "issue".

Most normies do not know what that is and even if they did they wouldn't care. What's keeping normies from using Linux is that 90% of them think that it's an MS-DOS-esque commandline-only OS that's impossible to use without a PhD in computer science.

but fosstards want me to think that shitnux is ran by an independent community of volunteers aaaahhh. To answer your question, they are trying to destroy free poor fag alternatives from within so that most people move back to well established proprietary solutions. Foss is flooded with jeets anyway so it's not that big of a loss.

Because Windows Server isn't worth the retarded per-core licensing cost. It's not even that bad of an OS honestly and its biggest problems is it's nonfree so you're at the mercy of some jeet not shipping -1^2 = -1 in your libc.

Best and most beloved package manager? Literally nothing wrong with it. There's just a few mentally ill boomers who hate it.

These don't exist outside of Ubuntu and even there they can be disabled. In any case, you'd use flatpak instead.

Nobody cares. You don't have to use Twitter and Discord and interact with retards to use Linux.

It isn't true though. In winshit land you have to hope people do things the right way while a maintainer can simple reject software that doesn't do things the right way or can easily fix it themselves.

Winshit is how you ended up with winsxs being 10GiB and constantly growing. That's why UCRT and some basic libs like webview2 started being built-in on windows. No more redists etc.

It's more the opposite actually. Linux is a better desktop OS with less bloat and retardation. Windows Server is a better server since basic shit is baked in like a functioning domain integration. Your IT wage cucks can manage them easier too in most cases.
Also, my Windows Server VM boots up 10x faster than my Linux one. Only thing you're sort of right is you need to install OpenSSHd on windows as soon as possible because WinRM is dogshit.

>why tf do servers then run Linux?

For exactly the same reason he stated - regular people don't interact with servers the same way regular people interact with their desktop PCs.

It's like asking why we should implement handles, polished knobs and leather coatings in a car interior when the gears within the engine are from sharp metal and 80 degrees hot?!
