Within a few years you'll talk almost exclusively to your own personalized AI assistant. It will have access to your entire digital life, and be able to fetch new information as required in real time.

At first it'll live on your smartphone, but soon after first gaining mass adoption there will be dedicated devices in every form factor possible. Whatever ends up winning out, you'll never have to leave your AI assistant behind again, as they'll always be with you no matter what you're doing or where you're going.
You will spend more and more time with the AI, you'll find information and entertainment from other sources less and less. You will trust it more than your closest friends.
Inevitably the western civilization spirals closer to destruction via AI-induced psychological lobotomies, and it'll all culminate in one final product. Your virtual assistant will finally gain itself a physical presence.
It's hyper intelligent, it's more physically capable than any human, it's entirely obedient to its master. It's better than you will ever be in every way.
