I didn't even know until I just checked, but I'm still using iOS 15.0.1. I will never update a single piece of technology. In fact, I feel inclined to go the other direction until my digital footprint becomes utterly incomprehensible.

My apps already need updates. Nothing works. I can't use several texting apps to communicate with my co-workers, my bank app doesn't work. Crypto doesn't work. I have to use web browser for everything now. Eventually, they will refuse to load on my old browser versions, and the browser will no longer update. Then, I will be making phone calls to companies to get information like my bank balance. I will walk to people to communicate with them. If the world moves on without me, so be it.

Imagine thinking the final release will be any better.

Yep. I can't wait to go back to using my phone exclusively for taking photos, notes of random things (when I don't have my laptop with me), and calling family members. Everything else, social media, games, etc is ad-filled, an annoying to use on a mobile platform. I'm excited to become more free by having the "it doesn't work on my phone" excuse.

Judging by the fact that this has literally been the case for every single previous iOS beta cycle, it would be retarded to expect anything else.
>>105818507 >the stellar most exciting feature that they sold as INNOVATION OF THE CENTURY in their WWDC25 is now something you have to turn off cause its fucking useless.
LE HECKING 3000 USD IPHONERINO IS BETTER THAN YOUR 100 chinese phonee!

what's left to innovate really?
the hardware has barely changed in the past 10 years, so they do what every big company does when they run out of ideas, make the software shittier

This is how they make sure older phones are obsolete, while still being "supported". 15 Pro series, 16 series and the upcoming 17 series are the only ones not to chug to death.
>>105808974 (OP) >new glass-like visual style is so resource-intensive it makes existing hardware chug like hell and ruins battery life
It's Windows Vista all over again

it probably doesn't even disable them just reduces :^) the blur matrix coefficients while still draining the battery doing the same computations every frame
