i got a nothing phone 1 at launch because it was reasonably priced and made by carl pei which means unlocked bootloader and later on good custom rom support, im not a big phone user so dont care about microsd or the headphone jack i dont use them. main thing that matters to me in a phone is custom roms so i can get more mileage out of the device and i dont buy pixels because i havent trusted google since the nexus 5x hw issues and i know they had similar hw issues in the earlier pixels models too like the audio or wifi ics dying, nothing phones look nice, arent expensive and work well dont need much more kek

most requested feature people ask them for (including me on their feature request forum) is the 3.5mm jack and they just say "the market research shows people don't want that" every single fucking time

bougth the moto g15 as a car infotainment system (music and maps) and it cant even do that. google maps keeps crashing minutes into the ride, the phone is slow and unresponsive, music is jumbled and keeps cutting out for the first 30 seconds after it connects to the radio and i get fucking ads in my notifications.

I actually think the design is pretty cool.
