So.... when are we getting MPV 0.40 builds for windows? where is my precious shinchiro?
Anonymous No.105811747
I used to use...uh. That mediabuildtools or whatever repo to build my own non-free ffmpeg (and then build MPV against it, with anything ffmpeg AAC hard disabled and libfdk included, for decode as well) until building MPV with it broke completely last year.

Got it compiled on my gentoo box a while ago, just so you know

I bet you have to compile a lot of things on your gentoo box, but I don't want to compile things. I want to be pampered, as all microsoft users should be.

I don't know what the obsession with this piece of program is about. I was on Linux for a while and I never felt the need to use it. I've heard that it's a very customizable rabbit hole but I never used anything other than vlc.

VLC would play a lot of my movies/shows/videos mirrored and with weird colors. I don't customize MPV much at all, it just plays everything perfectly. And less UI is acceptable when I don't need it.

I remember back on Windows when I tried using VLC. It was too much for my retarded brain so I used mpv(.)net for awhile and still sticking with mpv on Linux.

it's worse. they somehow can't manage to learn to download artifacts from CI runs from the official upstream project itself.
