Lucid Dreaming with technology
Lucid Dreaming. Becoming aware that you are dreaming and taking control of the dream. Many people experience this at least once in their lifetime. But, can it be invoked with technology? A helmet that you wear during sleep? Potential for a new form of entertainment? "Immortality" by being able to dream in a single night for what feels like days?

Lucid Dreaming with technology, is it possible? Will it be possible? Discuss.

Tech that helps induce lucid dreaming has existed for over a decade
It's not some sort of magical experience like you retards seem to think, it's just a dream you write the scenario of. It's no more "entertaining" than your average dream and it doesn't last any longer than your average dream either

No it hasn't. It's all complete trash that doesn't work.

The few times I have lucid dreaming have been among the most memorable experiences I've ever had.

Get a watch that beeps every hour and do reality checks every time you hear it. Keep it close to bed when you sleep.

I remember materializing a loli in one of my dreams once but felt like it would be too wrong to do any "stuff" so i just woke myself up instead.

How about a technology that stops dreaming? I am tired of having wet dreams all the time.
If I want lucid visions, I just do pic rel.

I've been using this night vision cam called inspec that detects when you're in rem sleep, its works pretty well and is non invasive, I mostly have it wake me at the start of a rem period so I can induce a wake initiated lucid dream

You can just practice to get lucid dreams almost every night. Just do reality checks and dreamjournaling.

It's called an alarm clock. wake up about 2 hours before your normal wake up time and do WBTB + WILD. It's pretty easy but you need a lot of practice and it's frustrating when you fall asleep instead of getting lucid and feel like you wasted an entire night. But once you get good at it it's a lot of fun.

It costs 351 usd if you buy from the inspec site, but the dev didn't create cam, hes just reselling the openmv cam rt1062 v4 loaded with custom firmware he made, the cam from costs 120usd on the openmv site but you will have to buy the ir lens, usb c cable, 3d print the official case, tripod, and an IR illuminator but the insec site has all of that included.

Try this. Also try meditation, so you can induce hypnagogia easier.

>>105812130 I used to do the same. Now I'm aiming higher. I want to remember that I'm the dreamer, and not really in the dream, so I may be able to change EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of the dream, like God does in this dream world people call reality.

Is that why it causes psychosis? Eliminating REM can do that.

Who knows?
I have been smoking every day for long time and no psychosis as of yet. I also do dream every now and then but I remember very little of them and 95% of time no dreams at all.

That's why you dream journal, before I started dream journaling, my dream recall was very vague, but now it's improved because dream journaling makes your brain prioritize dream recall, and even if you don't remember anything, just write down that you didn't remember any dreams and your dream recall will get better from there

The dormio device looks rather difficult to build due to having to do soldering and one part needing micro soldering, and also the offline web app's record function is broken which the dev has refused to fix, and there's already a free android app called 'lucid scribe with the targeted dream incubation feature from dormio called dead man's switch, but if you don't have an android laying around, just get a cheap second hand one just for that.

also the dormio build guide you linked is for the dormio v2, here's the one for v3 https://makezine.com/projects/dormio-dream-incubator/ but remember about the issues I mentioned
