i have romanticized white collar work my whole life. blue collar people are seen as subhuman. imagine putting on a cheesy dress shirt and tie, driving to work from your suburban home, and telling a corny joke to your coworkers at the water cooler "why did the duck cross the road? because the chicken was on vacation!", and they all laugh hysterically despite not actually finding it funny because they're incredibly superficial and would never show their real selves in person and you begin to wonder if you're living in the movie "they lived" or some kind of simulation.

i want that shit sooooo bad. also, i noticed your digits before you corrected your post.

It's always been up and down, ME was a disappointment, so was Vista, so was 8, now 11 is kinda shit.

Hopefully they use real AI and not jeets and ask chatGPT what customers actually want in windows and just design that.

but that's exactly the type of work thats gradually being phased out in favor for cheap h1b holders/ foreign remote workers and of course Ai. You may be working towards something that might not exist anymore by the end of your studies.
