This is ok. I don't see the reasoning for Lubuntu to be two grades higher than kubuntu/xubuntu though.
Fedora being two grades higher than Silverblue is also bizarre. Manjaro ranked higher than Endeavour also weird. Just a very strange image.

Lubuntu is lightweight Ubuntu whereas kubuntu/xubuntu are desktop flavors.
Manjaro is a fleshed-out operating system with its own tooling (e.g. pamac) whereas Endeavour is just an Arch installer.

Yet, your A tier includes Slackware so again completely inconsistent with what properties you value in a distro.

So if I made a debian based distro, I deleted a bunch of random files so that it wouldn't really work, and I made it that the default desktop is a picture of dog poop, it would still be in the same tier as the original debian? That would still be better than Ubuntu by the way

>Ubuntu and Debian are absolutely nothing alike
>the only similarity they have is that Ubuntu is based on Debian and uses apt
imagine contradicting yourself this hard in a single sentence
but since Ubuntu is based on Debian, it means that:
they share much of the same core system, including the Linux kernel, GNU utilities, and many of the same libraries
they share the same package management system like you said
they have the same filesystem hierarchy
same open source philosophy except Ubuntu includes more proprietary drivers and codecs by default for usability (something any sane Debian desktop user will install as well)
same development tools and languages
almost same software availability since they share the same repos
same init system (systemd)
same security patches
same architecture support
same core system tools aka networkd, netplan, ufw/iptables, cron, systemctl, etc
and I forgot the same default DE (Gnome) except Ubuntu customized it a bit

"but they are absolutely nothing alike btw"

>I deleted a bunch of random files so that it wouldn't really work

I can already do that on my current OS that doesn't make it a different distribution...

I really want to agree with your list OP but my experience with Manjaro makes me put it in shit tier. It was one of the worst linux distros I have ever used because of how unstable the environment was at the time which was like 6 years ago and there were a ton of issues outside of that since then.
How did they improve to the point I would take them over any of the other distros that do what they do but better like Cachy nobara or bazzite?
I do agree with you on arch, I don't see the point in using it on a main system when it won't even provide easy ways to mitigate damage like a easy way to install snapper during installation. I do not want a rolling release where I have to jump through hoops for rollback when the foundation is already shaky.

OP here, I just had the total opposite experience with manjaro (~3 years ago)
All the custom tooling is great, loved pamac, the DE tools for configuring things felt really stable, out of the box support for flatpak, snap, and aur in the same interface was nice, repo is slightly more stable than arch, and the default themes are really good out of the box as a bonus

They must have got things together, I had a all AMD system at the time and everything was so unstable. It actually made me go play with KDE neon before settling for tumblweed once I had better hardware to have a use case of more up to date software.
I could have used other distros but I appreciated it teaching me how to use KDE at the time.
I used to bounce around distros on my laptop for years before I found that distro. The only complaint I have for tumblweed is that if you're using cuda drivers for AI art there's mismatches with the version and the open driver which is mandatory for 5000 series cards but it typically gets fixed in a few days and rollback is quick.
