Apple has sold user data illegally every year. There is also these:

>2005 – Multiple WebKit vulnerabilities (e.g., CVE‑2005‑0976, CVE‑2005‑2516, CVE‑2005‑2522) allowed remote file access, arbitrary code execution, RTF/PDF exploits via Safari 1–2
>2013 – CVE‑2013‑5150: Safari on iOS<7 failed to clear back/forward history when clearing history, enabling local attackers to access sensitive browsing data
>2016 – CVE‑2016‑1849: Safari<9.1.1 mislabeled deleted history and website data, leaking sensitive info via directory read access
>2018 – Address-bar spoofing bug disclosed by RafayBaloch allowed malicious sites to mask URLs in the address bar on Safari; Apple didn’t respond until public disclosure
>2018 – Private-browsing info leak: downloads in Private mode were still listed via CVE‑2018‑4102, plus CVE‑2018‑4116 allowed auto‑fill exfiltration without user intent
>2020 – Google researchers documented flaws in Safari’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP), which actually enabled persistent cross‑site tracking and information leaks
>2020 – Webcam/microphone takeover chain discovered by Ryan Pickren: origin‑confusion in saved permissions allowed arbitrary sensor access
>2021 – WebKit/iCloud “ShareBear” exploit by Pickren allowed hackers to switch shared doc files for malicious ones, granting access to active sessions, camera/mic/webcam
>2022 – CVE‑2022‑22620: use‑after‑free in History API via Safari/WebKit, introduced in 2016 and then re‑introduced again
>2022 – IndexedDB bug in Safari15 leaked users’ identity and visited site history; disclosed Jan14
>2023 – Possibly‑exploited WebKit zero‑day, CVE‑2023‑23529
>2023 – CVE‑2023‑40385: Safari/PrivateRelay leak of DNS queries; attackers could view user DNS when Private Relay was enabled
>2024 – CVE‑2024‑1580: Critical Safari/WebKit flaw allowing system takeover

Install open source actually private and secure browser like Librewolf or Abrowser.

Apple definitely gives info to the fed but they're overall more invested in privacy than most other tech companies. Not because they care about your privacy, but because they didn't want to hand over free money to Google and Facebook and other companies profiting off of user data.
Apple's ATT changes in 2021 genuinely made a big hit on advertisers' revenue. The impact was enormous and it's part of the reason why subscription services got more expensive.

Rarely.
In the circumstance that he's right it's a 1 out of 1000 instance that it actually matters.

You spin the roulette wheel praying he's not right about something that would actually matter.

omg you mean the server i'm choosing to connect to and ask shit from knows i'm asking stuff from it? OMG! If you were a little less of an idiot you would understand all url requests being shuttled to a 3rd party is much more of a concern than the fucking website you asked for shit from knowing that you asked shit from it. It's not the same thing at all.
