When I was buying my current monitor I returned two damaged ones before finally getting a flawlwss one.

Always check at the store, or order with an option to return unconditionally asked. A monitor with less than a fuckload of dead pixels is not considered damaged and not subject to RMA

I don't know about you but I can return anything I buy in burger land within 30 days no questions asked. The worst screen experience I had was with a samsung tab s7+.
I bought 4 of them and returned all 4 of them to multiple stores because all the ones I had contained a noticeable green tint on the screen. I have no desire to buy another samsung tablet after experiencing how locked down everything is and how many software updates they do not for actual security but to behind the scenes shit they add and now the tablet runs worse doing basic shit like dex on the same fucking TV I had when I bought it.
