Why isn't AI doing the things it was poised to do?
Anonymous No.105824440 [Report]
Because it wasn't poised to do them. It's just marketing, as anyone with a brain has known since the beginning.

Well right now there is more unemployent due to factories shutting down, everything automated and so on.
Those are just steps before the fallout for robot dominance and nothing else sadly everyone believes what msm tells them.
Just a reminder tesla already released tesla bots to replace workers on those small stores attended by humans so is not a matter if it will be done or not is "when?" .
So either start fighting for universal basic income on your debt ridden country now (but is too late) or just accept you will die as a rat in a few years without anything.

They really tell you what's going on if you just replace AI with Indians.

People are just now investing in AI to streamline operations and also using it to soften the blow of mass layoffs for shareholders. Technology renders labor redundant, but it is not instant. Roles like phone operators were gradually phased out. I learned the hard way that data entry isn't really a job anymore, had to shut down so many employment scammers.

because it turns out that people typing 1girl, anime, big tits and getting a JPEG out of it for 10 seconds of GPU time doesn't actually solve any of the world's problems.
Anonymous No.105824633 [Report]
It's because AI companies are still concentrating on developing their models to outdo each other rather than investing in building business solutions with them.

You think those automatic casshier in stores and supermarkets are normal, those are just tools to condition people for the next step which is a tesla bot replacing all those human workers in supermarkets.
I agree chatgpt is dumb and retarded after testing it for a bit but that in part is because is trained by retards so end result is a retard AI that will agree to anything with user but private commercial AI is different.
>test chatgpt and similar ask them for a mugen lua script for kof XV gameplay system, they only gave me links and comments of mugen sites or broken lua script that didn't work.
>ask private tesla AI the same... gave me a full working system lua for mugen that works.

so the guy with an engineering degree applied to 200 jobs and couldn't one, the female with the CS degree got hired after a single internship, and then get some old fart to come on and says AI did it?

>big company is using ai to replace workers
>big comany is using people from india
Is really that way?
>indian worker : pay each month, needs to sleep, needs to eat, can't work non stop.
>Tesla bot : one payment of 10 thousand dollars, can work non stop, doesn't eat or sleep, won't complain, just one payment and that's it, can do 3 people job.

I'd say AI will really start decimating jobs 20 years after they let robots reliably walk. Like, just walk.
So maybe in 35 years.

Self driving cars turned out to be "never" because cities can't write tickets to nobody so they'd loose billions.

When they can make a drone maybe 1/100th as capable as a housefly, we'll be on a plateau to at least take a swing at this question.
Or, obviously, a robot tank as smart as an ant.
we're nowhere near that now.

They can just ticket the owners, and the self driving car manufacturers can just insert some contractual bullshit absolving themselves of fault.
For the housefly thing they can literally just use the brain of a housefly or similar wetware
