Apple Apps on Android
I'm surprised nobody has ported shit like Apple Maps or Safari onto Android. Not even a smelly nerd on Github or Discord has done any groundwork on it.

Apple literally this current year, just started working on Swift for Android. Why are you surprised that no one tried to build an entire ecosystem to port apps from a hostile company?

Google Maps is goated. Simple as.
Probably the only decent product Google has and they're fucking it up with embedded adverts and other review nonsense.
OSM is where the freetards play, and the contributed map data is pretty thick and juicy.
No map product gets lanes right though, and yeah it changes as they repaint lines, which imagery doesn't show until the next capture, but surely they could infer from vehicle traces.

about 20% of Apples income is via the App Store. Opening that up to non-Apple hardware would be in their overall interests. iPhone innovation died on its arse long time ago and hardware is just the free razor. Blades (soft + services) is where the real cash is at.
