You should never store really sensitive data on any server but your own local hardware.
As for not being fucked over by a company giving access of your data to police / governments: Yeah, Apple is alright on that front, though it is yet to be seen if they will kowtow to Fรผhrer Trump soon.

You can trust Apple to not share your data to a third party company or foreign government.

Your data will only be accessed by Apple and the American government

As far as normie friendly privacy goes, it's about as good as it can possibly get. ADP is some good shit and you can just go the extra autism level by using Cryptomater to encrypt anything you upload first.

Yes, unless you live in the UK or USA.

Didn't the UK backdown? At least for now. Though they're also trying to get rid of encryption for literally everything now.

Fuck, the UK really is over then. I guess Britbongs only choice now is to client side encrypt everything before uploading.

Unless the server, or backup(s) of the server, are located in a foreign country(s). In which case, your data will be shared by Apple, the government and Law Enforcement of the foreign country(s) in which the servers are located, the US, along with any country(s) with whom any of the above have a data sharing agreement or their law enforcement agencies PLUS anyone with a backdoor, so you can safely assume the Chinese for a start. Also Barry in IT, who scans our customer data for noods then sells them in bundles on the Dark Web.

It is but he also believes the US can bypass it, despite them relying on another countries technology to hack Apple devices and it only working if those devices don't use the latest OS version.

This thread is about the disingenuous fruity data thieving hypocrites tho. I don't think MS offer much pretense at not thieving and attempting to monetise every bit they can harvest.
