I bricked my computer by changing settings in bios trying to install Win 11. Has anyone ever done this before? Nothing I try will get a signal or post. How screwed am I?
>>105844893 (OP) Turn off all power to the system including the plug to the power supply remove the cmos battery from the motherboard wait 2 minutes put cmos battery back in motherboard plug everything back in and turn it on and it should post again
>>105844928 Yea I ve treid all that and variations of it. unpluggin drives, cmos in, cmos out. Just wanted to vent I guess. Ill keep trying things. I would delete this thread but I think I cant.
>>105844949 I had to enable TPM (trusted platofrm module). I managed to do that, next i had to enable Secure boot I think it was. On the restart after that, I get nothing.

>>105844957 Maybe you didn't remove the battery for long enough. Or if it has a cmos clear jumper you could try shorting that.

>>105844893 (OP) I don't think bricking your mobo so that it won't even turn on is something that any BIOS setting can do, unless there was already something severely wrong with the board
>>105845121 >>105845104 nta, no it isn't there's settings that can fuck your installed operating system, but there's no setting that can make the board refuse to even turn on
