Always remind the retards that your thought-to-delivery time is itself a use case ie I think it I make it, how long does it take?

so use cases are abundant. Did you think it? Was it possible? How long did it take you?

And the "you" part matters.

ie there is a use case for the stupid users having stupid software for stupid people. They think, they (take a lot longer) use stupid softare. they get a result that's ok.

on Linux often the high-perrformaing professional is mocked, and that keeps people out of the floss ecosystem, because their complaints are ignored (you can do it in this complex way see, it's obvious! *it takes literally 1000x as long even if you know how to do it)

Then implement a patch, and no, we won't merge it, feel free to maintain your own fork, faggot.

wayland ofc. if you care so much about making everything so secure and seperated (which most of us don't, stop forcing your security cock down our throats you cunt) Xephyr has been around for 18 years at this point or use Xenocara by the OpenBSD guys if you're that paranoid. I do believe a new display server protocol for unix would be awesome but many of the design choices thrust upon us by the governing body (LOL) managing the project has completely ruined its potential as an Xorg successor. I went over this in a thread a while back
https://desuarchive.org/g/thread/105739473
I've seen some other attempts at display servers which look interesting
Arcan is probably the most well known of these. There is even really out there distro Eltanin OS which ships with it
https://github.com/letoram/arcan
Nano-X looks sick, its tiny enough to run on PDAs from the 2000s, surprised nobody seems interested in running it on a desktop
https://github.com/ghaerr/microwindows
I don't know how the fuck drawterm works but some plan9 cultist could probably fill us in on that, I also saw this one called mds from one of the suckless guys but that seemed to just be a toy project.
