>>105854736>How's your linux journey treating you?Better, now that a recent update forced me onto Wayland. The big sticking point I had before on X11 was waking my computer up from sleep mode being uncooperative and glitchy (thanks Nyidia!), but that's not a problem on Wayland for me. I'm still keeping my Windows 10 LTSC drive around for any compatibility/needs issues that Linux can't tackle, but I'm using Linux far more often now (like 75:25 now instead of 50:50).
>Do you find EndeavourOS better than default Arch?I can only speak as a semi-power/enthusiast user, but I'd at least say it's certainly much easier to get started on Endeavour. Also not as bloated from the get-go as other Arch distros (e.g. Manjaro), but I'm on a 2TB drive with a bunch of extra drives in tow so personally I don't agonize over every slight byte of bloat.
>Do you collect CDs by any chance?I have a couple spindles of blank CD-Rs and DVD-Rs I use to burn copies of games for modded consoles and to get drivers onto older laptops, but I don't really collect CDs. I like floppy disks for how they look, and because I can turn borked ones into decent coasters.
>Good setup as always Mr. Furro. Thanks!
