>>105851477 (OP)Get an iPhone 13 (any variant, I have a mini)
I had a Sony Xperia that I loved, but it had issues with 4G most of the time and none of their phones in the US support WiFi calling. (unless that has changed, but not that I am aware of)
iPhones do "just werk". Because of the optimization standards that apps comply with due to the proprietary hardware and iOS itself, almost all apps will not buggy or laggy as shit for no reason at all unlike Android.
The basic model of iPhones for the longest time until recently had 4GB of RAM, and so does my iPhone 13 mini. No lag or hiccups at all with apps, media content, or web browsing.
I think 6-8GB is sufficient for Android, and my Sony had 8GB RAM, but the fact that modern apps don't require that much from iOS optimization says a lot about Android developers. (yes, I am aware that Android specs vary between different types of SoC architectures and whatnot)
When Unihertz develops a better version of the Titan Slim, I think that's when I'll go back to Android phones. But, if you want a reliable fucking phone, just get an iPhone 13 or newer. (I am not interested in the new iPhones due to the AI shit and the security and software updates will continue until 2028 for their earlier models anyway.)
I have coworkers that still use a 2016-era iPhone despite the lack of support now for modern app updates, because it just does what it's supposed to do. (old Android phones do have the benefit of LineageOS dev support, however.)
