It is, actually impossible. Apparently there's only one app that can do it, and it costs $5.50 a month to use, I can't even get the lposed module thing it requires to open anyway. Just keeps crashing.

oops not sysfs, but you can use the `ip` cli tool to set the mac address of an interface directly
