Does SMB just have problems on Windows? I have to live boot a Linux distro to get acceptable transfer rates (~6gbps)

ignore the retards in this thread, samba shares that are offline (or change relative to your vpn) will freeze explorer when mounted

if I need to use windows, I'll keep the password *not* saved so that it doesn't automount on startup
