I remember a couple years ago I installed Mint on the family computer just to stop my mom from nuking it with malware. 2 weeks later she had a couple of malicious chromium extensions installed

Does she actually use it for Windows only applications or is it just a glorified boot loader for Firefox/Chrome? Giving mom a cheap Acer Aspire running Mint with auto updates was the best mental health decision I ever made.
