Grim. Just use Mint or use Debian. Not LMDE lol.

Mint ubuntu is stupid because it relies on ubuntu which is already a fork.

Debian sucks because their packaging of cinnamon is far from vanilla, and there's many benefits to use mint.

One you get everything setup out of the box, an easy installer, an easy app store, easy GUI everything, timeshift, updater, file renamer, libreoffice, updated and modernized apt.

There's real reasons to use LMDE and I'm not some linux minimalist, I just want something that works.

Because Win11 still has higher software compatibility... And I'm using it since I've bought a better computer. But to be frank, I want to use Linux again because lately I've been dealing with issues after each update. First was windows corners reverting back to rounded after launching W11DoRRC utility, and then I've dealt with Wi-Fi not connecting at all just today.

i'm not using it because arch does the weird bleeding edge thing i want every time without issue
i have weird problems and arch consistently has solutions to weird problems

Should I wait a little longer for LMDE 7, or just stick to Debian 13 when it comes out?
