What is the correct way to video prompt? The guide explains leveraging booru tags for creating anime images, but videos are obviously very different, and I assume there's a lot of difference between say Wan and FramePack.

Do you just describe what you want to see? Are there any dos and donts?

good training data makes things easier

for image loras people have success with all sorts of methods and various settings... but obviously probably also quite many failed attempts. personally I like to try prodigy schedulefree or ol' adamw8 with typical 1e-4/1e-5 ish LR for images

for videos diffusion-pipe seems to be the most used trainer right now, don't have much experience with training that.

Wan works fine at low resolutions and as some people have noted it has the SOTA VAE so it doesn't lose details or crunch to low resolutions (but I do inference at 640x480) so maybe it matters at higher resolutions.

But having multi-scale resolutions helps it learn the concept better IMO.

Finally for captioning what seems to work fine is just doing a caption on the first frame as if it is an image. It infers motion just fine.

MJ is laughably bad at realism compared to a proper local model. 4o is censored slop. Dall-e 3 while it was decent is quite dated due to its plastic skin, and well there was also that annoying dog that rendered it useless past a few months of release. Chroma happens to be as good as Dall-e 3 was at release, except it's actually SOTA at realism. It's unlikely there will ever be a cloudshit model that is as good at realism as Chroma, because for that to happen it'd have to be fully uncensored. And only ClosedAI trains their models that way, but since Dall-e they have amped up their safety filter.

Generally you'd currently run diffusion-pipe either under linux or wsl2 and see if it works... it's very possible that it didn't work or too poorly at which point you're in for a bunch of retries with changed training data and/or changed settings and for the most part you'll find out experimentally if you're getting improvement or not.

Any such list would be pure bullshit. There are too many different settings and models that change how gens work. Inference scales with compute, the faster the card the faster you will gen. Get something with 16GB or more of vram, after that get the fastest card you can afford.

i was archiving foundational models for the first year, but it seems like what we really need is to preserve and process the leaks and datasets. i've got like 25TB of them right now, but there's obviously not a lot of utility sharing them as a whole.

SDXL forever bross, I have a problem.
I want to generate an image of my waifu building a sandcastle on the beach.
I've been trying almost all day, but I can't get my waifu to build or even touch the sandcastle.
In the images, she is posing and the castle is next to her. She doesn't even look at it, she looks at the viewer or looks to the side.
I've set the weight of the label "building a sandcastle" to 2.0, but SDXL doesn't seem to understand it. I also reinforced other labels like "concentrated face" or "focused," but it still doesn't seem to get it.
