I brought picrel to the pool yesterday and it got water all over it, it wouldn't turn on so I assumed it was dead. Went home, ordered a cheaper one (I bought this before i became a poorfag) but this morning it turned on. I'm worried about putting my phone in here or charging it since Lithium batteries are demons that explode for no reason and i still don't understand how magnetism works

If it didn't spark or smoke then it's probably fine

Sure, if its just "probably" fine what's gonna happen if its not fine? Will it randomly explode on my pocket? Blow my leg clean off while charging my phone?

Would it damage my phone battery if a component fries or corrodes while using it?

very unlikely, the battery is sealed. Usually it's punctures that make them explode, or people ignoring them slowly inflating and building pressure.

I have the same one.
Please fuck around with lithium batteries anon.
Especially those that got their BMS damaged by water egress.
