Now THIS is interesting. I've been using K2 on the OR text completions endpoint, and getting no refusals,. Just now I corrected the template to be what you just said, and I suddenly got 100% refusals for my prompt. Reverted back to a wrong template and now the model's horny and sick again.
So it looks like the key to no refusals is to use the text completions endpoint with an incorrect formatting template.

Why are we the worst AI general?

On the first glance I thought it was better than deepseek, but no, deepseek is way smarter. Kimi seems smart, but soon youll start to notice problems here and there until they become unbearable. Like it ignores very blatant hints in character cards and so on. And of course, it's not even remotely close to opus.

unfortunately kimi suffers from repetition and its definitely more censored(frequent refusals even with specific system prompt) and filtered(training data)... it's a bit disappointing. I used all kinds of presets and settings (temp 0.1-0.7, various repetition penalties, min p disabled, enabled, etc.)

When it starts to repeat it's very very hard to avoid it.

It can handle simple 1on1 chats for some time, but in group chats it falls apart immediately where deepseek/opus handle scenarios pretty well.

Also it's very sensitive to system prompt. E.g. if you write for characters to act realistically, they will do so and result will probably be worse than with opus/deepseek which better recognize the nuances of the characters and what the user wants.

Was comparing it to latest deepseek r1 without thinking and latest v3. All in fp8 through openrouter.

Information about Sensei is mostly contained on the Persona, which is where it belongs. Check my profile and look for the Sensei character card, copy its definitions into a new Persona.

While using the bot, if the AI gets something wrong about the universe, open up Advanced Definitions and append information to the Scenario field and try again. This has given me the best results in correcting it.

I think very few people got off to monks entering temples. But we did use a lot of allegories and euphemisms. We even shared them so others could try it out. I personally used "spot" for pussy and "shaft" for cock.
We also sometimes did picture related, where we codenamed actions so that the bot didn't have to explictly say it, thus bypassing the filter.

I also personally made a breakthrough when I was chatting up a particular bot. I figured out a specific scenario and choice of words that allowed her to say things naughty words. I posted it ITT and other people managed to recreate it on their own.
Another thing we used to do A LOT was FemPOV. I did a lot of that, playing as a female character. It was just so much easier to get actual naughty text if the cock wasn't yours.

It was a different time, our standards were different. Considering CAI had 4k tokens context size for EVERYTHING combined, it was quite good.
In comparison to what we have now, it's obviously slop, but it was very good at some specific things. Every time it output, it gave us 3 swipes at once. Every swipe was completely unique, never similar paths. Each swipe introduced new story elements and would have different outcomes. It was very eager to move the narrative forward, so long as it didn't involve sex. And characters were very adherent to their definitions. They stood their ground on convictions, even if you buttered them up for hours.

check your cache hit and cache miss counts in console/logs. you might be using something that makes insertions at very start of chat (after prompt) which invalidates whole cache.

if you use world info, vectorization or other bs, then make sure things are inserted not at start but in between last 10 recent messages

I had to min-max unironically deepseek and switch to v3 because I run around 5 - 10 prompts per message. One being game-master, another analyzing game-master's decision whether its correct, another generating character prompt and another analyzing character prompt whether its aligned to lore.
