I configured and built pc for family and friends when I was nine 22 years, it's not high-end horology, anyone can do it (there are watch kits tehse days, it's very interesting to assemble, i recommend it), these people aren't special.

If I put any combo of CPU+RAM and it still doesn't boot after a BIOS update, then hardware is fucked somewhere.

When you buy expensive high-end current things right after release, it is easier to run into compatibility problems.
Like GPU drivers are laughably unusable the first months after a GPU releases. Same with new mother boards and their BIOS.

If you buy things with good cost / value, made for mass consumption and when you need it, rather then when it releases, it's almost impossible to run into any such issues.
