Just buy an AC you fucking poorlord.
I bought a good AC three years ago and it was one of the best investments I ever made.

that's not spreading cold, that's pushing heat from the room inside that shit. it's pretty much useless. just stick your head in the fridge for like two minutes.

not him but not everybody needs an AC, I for example would never buy one for the few hot days here

Yes the ice would melt and that takes energy so it cools down the room.

almost, germany. for the few days it is hot here I wouldn't waste money for this shit. I just buy pic related and it's enough. if it breaks I don't care, will buy a new one next year.

Isn't that how all air conditioning, and thermodynamics in general, works?
Anonymous No.105893923
its been usually cold summer in finland
still even if the hot period is short I'd rec people to get a portable ac unit since while they're weak and noisy they make the hot weeks tolerable to live without constant sweating
then you just drain the water and store them to wait for next winter
Anonymous No.105893929
>>105893876
So knock it down and build a new one with ac and plumbing and a gas range in a full kitchen.

Are you too poor to buy a fan that you photoshopped one into your room?
Anonymous No.105894014 >>105894128

Do this every night/morning before it gets hot:
>put a fan in the window to blow the cool air in, another fan blowing the hot air out the door
>fill the freezer with water bottles
Then when it starts to get hot:
>close all windows/doors and only open them when absolutely needed
>put a sheet over doors opening to outside to keep the cool air inside when you open them
>lower the fridge cooling settings (helps if you don't keep much in it during hot spells)
>hold onto the frozen water bottles
>fill a bin with water and drop a few of the frozen water bottles in it, then point the fan at that
>don't turn on anything that generates heat (PC, TV, etc)
I do this and it stays cool inside until around late afternoon when it's already starting to cool off outside anyway.

Yes but before AC the rich would install an ice room in the cellar that had a window into a room of ice and then open all the windows on the top floor. Then the heat would rise and the air sucked in through the ice cellar would cool the house via convection. This is a superior method. Some eco-friendly homes do this convection method by installing long pipes through an earthwork hill that vent at the homes lowpoint and then the entire roof is angled so that windows, basically transoms for the exterior then vent out the hot air via convection and the air sucked in is cooled by burried earth. If you have a cellar with a door or window and a second story you can do a poor mans version of this

and I should waste money for electricity I don't even need?
there's only a few days to max 2 weeks hot here, in the winter its max -1C to -2C in the night here. no point for any tech at this point

Nigger it's hot like 2 days per year in Europe you don't buy some expensive device and set it up just for those 2 days and then waste storage space for the remaining 363 days why are mutts too dumb to understand that? The last heatwave wasn't even that bad I barely noticed it and all the people who died were already 90+ years anyway. Mutts falling for the fake news as usual.

how hot is it?
Anonymous No.105894962
>>105893891
nope. not at all. see..what you want to do is take the heat OUT of the room. with that shit it doesn't leave the room. you just add a very small amount of extra mass that sucks a small amount of heat into it. it's pretty much useless.
A/C takes the heat from your room and moves it like out of said room.
