this is 100% a skill issue.
Just use throwaway email

And?
Most VPNs offer nothing in return other than taking your money for fake sense of security.

It's more of a loss of confidence rather than a matter of inconvenience.

Only retards use VPN (outside of getting into your own network from remote) for internet access.

>According to Proton Mail's transparency report, it is legally obligated to follow Swiss court orders if Swiss law is broken. Due to the encryption utilized, Proton Mail is unable to hand over the contents of encrypted emails under any circumstances, but according to Proton's privacy policy, Proton Mail can be legally compelled to log IP addresses as part of a Swiss criminal investigation.
>For this reason, the company strongly suggests that users who need to hide their identity from the Swiss government use their Tor hidden service/onion site or Proton VPN, noting in particular that under Swiss law, VPNs are treated differently than email, and Proton VPN is not obliged to keep data retention logs of online activity and cannot be forced to log user activity.
Seems reasonable to me.

Do you realize how many hundreds of millions of people live in countries where half of the internet is banned? VPN or some kind of a proxy is a necessity these days.
>>105899377 (OP)
Me too, but I regret it a little. It's a good and reliable service, but that's why it's too damn popular, which means its IPs and protocols are banned in countries that block a lot of websites, and on the other hand websites block it because there are way too many spammers using Proton IPs. It's kind of a miserable experience, and for people considering a VPN I would recommend finding less popular ones. Unless you really need to have a VPN with servers in all countries within the same subscription, which is of course bloody convenient for getting through lightweight region-locks.

Is it a good option to pirate a VPN?
Anonymous No.105907569 [Report] >>105908349 >>105908387
so what vpn should I be using in 2025? I mostly want it to use on a dedicated browser to get around the uk's new anti porn laws, torrenting support is a plus, I just open IP now but probably should start using a vpn

no activities i'm worried about the cops kicking down my door but obviously privacy is nice

I'd be worried. Australia was the first one that was pushing the forced ID a year or 2 ago. The first thing they also listed was getting around VPN's too and the UK was following right behind them so I wouldn't put it past them to try going after VPNs as well. They've gone pants on head retarded over this one.
