Do not, however, fall for the "you can be the opposite gender if you want!" meme, even if you manage to "pass" you will never have the true experience and feel of being a woman. Of being shushed as a kid, dealing with perverted friends and family members, having to deal with puberty fucking you up from within. A man will never be able to replicate that, we can never understand how it feels. It's an impossible task to try and achieve. The only reason psychologists pretend it's a "cure" it's because the DSM-5 book removed homosexuality as a mental disease, but if you go looking, it was never justified beyond "social norm changes". There is no scientific basis for this, and ironically, everything we know about modern sex identity is derived from this change.
