Some boards support 128, but will start running the memory at lower transfer rates. That said, I immediately think less of someone under 6'4 ahem, I mean 64 gb.

Buying 32 GiB now is like buying 16 GiB a few years ago. Just go with 64 GiB unless you are povertymaxxing or thirdiemaxxing your build. 64 and above are appropriate for men of the west.
