people misunderstand what the purpose of comfy is, the field is still young and there is no "correct" way to implement things and do things, new advancements, improvements, features and optimizations and coming out basically every other day, the only way you can keep up with those is if you have a modular workflow that allows every part of it to be easily changed (especially by the community through plugins)

you are supposed to use krita with it for better control and swarm ui for simpler ui if you want that, but comfyui is something to easily make and edit workflows, the actual fine grained image editing ui part that its missing should just be done in krita/swarm, implementing everything in one place is simply not possible given the work required to stay on top of everything in the field that changes every day.

No catbox. I am just constantly pumping out gens and constantly editing the positive and negative prompts to iron out issues. If I get a good gen I'll try to ctrl-z enough times and run it again with the same noise seed but better quality settings. I just save my last prompt text to notepad for each image.

I'm still a beginner at this and improvising with various different official artworks. Most fast-moving gens come out like this so a lot of patience is required. I always try to keep the camera and the lighting as static and consistent as possible.

diffusion-pipe now has Flux Kontext training.

Both standard t2i datasets and edit datasets are supported. It is minimally tested, but it seems to work. The edit dataset format should be the same as AI-Toolkit, if you've used that one.

I think this gets a lot closer to what you want, probably needs a bit more prompting to limit the colors more (if that's what you want) and add a bit more dynamism maybe.

Can someone explain to me what video loras actually do? I know with images they give the character a certain style, and obviously they do the same for video, but do they also dictate how the character moves/animates? Are video loras trained to emulate a specific kinetic movement?

None of the --fast options are safe and are gated behind the flag for a good reason, otherwise, it would've been applied everywhere automatically. As far as I know, all of them are slight hits but combined with cuBLAS + FP8/FP16 might be a sizable hit. Not sure if it is better than using caching tricks like with Magcache or etc.

Can anyone explain how to integrate two loras into the regional prompting + control net workflow? Instead of having a CLIP text encode create the two female characters, I want it to be two different loras instead. Like, will it still require a text prompt or do the loras take care of the artstyle?

that is the problem it is bloat and honestly i don't why people bother when its just as easy to paste the image into gimp. use a low opacity brush or what ever to put the basic shape into the image and denoise that in comfyui, its better than inpainting imo. i can remove someones arm and just spray the general shape into its new position and de-noise.

What do you want to use, lora artstyle or lora character?
if you want to use 2 artstyles lora for each one of the character, you are out of luck
if you want to use 2 characters lora, just slap them between the checkpoint and AC, and connect the clip. if the character lora isn't shit, it shouldn't bleed. Just use the trigger word associated for each prompt. You don't need to change the controlnet prompt

I have a few questions if anyone would be kind enough to help.
Set up SD yesterday. Anons at /gif/ suggested it's easy with YT videos and chatGPT guidance. It wasn't. There were a few errors I had to troubleshoot and hunt down missing dependancies not mentioned straight up. Anyways, it finally ran and I tried generating one of the showcase images for Pony (all settings exactly as the original gen). Came out like this. It was generating fairly well mouths, hands, shoulders in the correct location, then it suddenly got bricked. Could something be wrong in my set up?
I wanna try generating videos on a 8GB 3070. Do I have any hope or is it over? I saw that all the gifs in /gif/ are on Civit.ai as well. So none of them are actual local gens, but instead paid gens on their servers? Is good quality local gen even achievable?
I set up Animate diff but it generates several very bad quality Picaso style random images. I think it might incompatibility in models. Can anyone recommend a combination of SD + AnimateDiff + Lora, etc that I can try to run. Style and scope doesn't matter. I want to see if generating a video is at all possible on an 8gb card.

There is an officially supported way actually, but I've never messed with it because I've never had a use case for regional style loras, and as you said, with characters you just need to put the activation keyword in the region you want.

Rookie mistake. I bypassed teacache, which meant I had to bypass Skip Layer Guidance or the gen would error. Little did I know SLG is extremely important. I re-did the gen at 35 steps with teacache still off, but using the comfycore "SkipLayerGuidanceSD3" node and copied the settings from the rentry guide's workflow.
The difference is enormous. What a critically important node.

I'm looking at some things on the Wan 2.1 repo and seeing some stuff that I don't see often in guides:

1) They say you should prompt in chinese because the model was trained on image to text pairs in chinese. this feels easy enough with google translate or whatever. I also tried Deepl which seems good but idk chinese so who knows.
2) They mention doing "prompt extension" a ton as THE way to get a good result from Wan. I'm a comfy noob, can someone show me how to use this in comfy with qwen? I've downloaded the model from HF and combined the safe tensors file, but unsure how to wire it up to intercept the CLIP text encode part. Everything I search shows me some hosted BS and I'm just looking for a simple guide to hook it up.

Well, if you have less vram, like 16-12gb for example, Comfy will offload parts of the model into ram and then load them in again when needed and offload something else, since the whole model won't fit in vram at the same time.

This slows things down, while system ram is fast, moving from vram to ram and back again still takes time, so not swapping, or less swapping, helps performance.

You pick a model (and or loras) that can generate NSFW content, it has nothing to do with ComfyUI.

If it is video, Wan+loras are the best option (go to Civitai and browse).

For images, there's a lot more options, depending on if you want realism, cartoony/anime, etc, what generation speeds you
find tolerable etc. Again browse CivitAI and see what you like, then pick that model / loras.
