Question for people on both RED and OPS, how many of the things you downloaded from RED are cross seedable? I recently joined OPS just because I want to maximize the amount of shit I can download. I'm not really looking to use it as my main tracker for music but if I can cross seed it will be useful.

That's not true. When I do spamming most of what I upload is stuff I like. It makes the process more enjoyable. I approach it the same way I did when I bought shit from beatport and junodownload to do scene releases. If you're not like 15 years old surely you have encountered a lot of music in your life and hopefully know about a lot of different things. It started for me listening to classic rock radio in the car with my dad. Then I graduated to raiding my parents and relatives tape/cd collections. Then I had my own radio and I was finding more current music I liked. From there I found more to explore, college radio, the old music video channel M2, and finally the internet. Going into IRC and downloading fucking everything XDCC bots will give me even if I've never heard of it. Vinyl rips, unmastered advance copies, music videos only aired on foreign channels. Everything I could find. I'm just getting up to 2002 now. By 2007 I was taking a portable turntable to record stores and sitting on the floor listening to dusty 45s one by one buying the ones I liked. Too much is never enough and I always want more. I am on all the cabal trackers but music is what I care about most.

How complicated can it be? I can tell it to make a script that will generate jpg screenshots from every 3 minutes in the video using ffmpeg then I download them and decide which ones I want to use. The quality of the script doesn't really matter. It's better than the ones I would have made out of stackoverflow copy paste jobs before LLMs existed. Any suggestions here for raising one's rank? I've had a long standing account and always seed back, but it seems like between A) almost everything is well seeded so sometimes if you grab something non-freeleech and larger, it may take a long time to get a lot of upload. You can park it there seeding for ages and avoid a HNR but it may have few actual transfers of upload because of the amount of other seeders OR its obscure as fuck that isn't in much demand B) they make stuff other than seeding conditional to rank up. Creating new torrents is typically hard unless you have something ultra rare because say... there's a new game or repack, someone else already got to it first etc.

Any tips overall or do you just have to grind up all the various different 'levels' of different content including stuff like forum posting (which I thought torrent comments counted, they dont seem to) , playing their little idle game, and more?

I got it now. It just seems like the most complicated way to stream your media for absolutely no reason at all. SSHing into your server and going through your directory in a terminal with no organization whatsoever and manually type a command to open a file is too autistic for my liking. I have fast download speeds so I don't mind downloading my media to my PC and stream it locally with mpv. Doing all of this after every 20 min anime episode is just not convenient at all.
