If that's the only metric on which these machines are being evaluated then the other attributes you mentioned are irrelevant.
I will also point out that none of those components will fail before you were going to replace your computer anyway. I don't disagree with the sentiment, and would love to have my cake and eat it too, but you must understand that there are situations where power efficiency could be so important as to invalidate the downsides of all other factors regarding the machine.
ARM computers occupy an important niche and are an excellent choice in certain circumstances depending on your specific use case.
